That is awesome! ❤️ I have noticed the more you practice and practice every day you get better at pronouncing the words. I can remember when I first started out I would record the on my phone and listen to it while driving or cleaning house. But when I was still learning to pronounce Hebrew words I couldn’t stand listening to myself 🤣 I thought man Pam you are killing me with your pronunciation 🤣 but by practice everyday and writing and rewriting and saying then made such a big improvement! I now record myself and it doesn’t hurt my ears 👂 🤣 its all thanks to your books in getting me out of my rut in Starting out ❤️

I am most pleased to know you through the wonder of the Internet, and by your marvelous book learning Hebrew workbook for beginners. Little things mean a lot, and in some cases, they mean much more. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the textured waterproof covering on your workbook, excuse me, my workbook! The texture grabbed me from the start and as I have just in the last week begun to use it seriously it is my breakfast table Trivett. Therefore very important that it is waterproof!

Inbal made this workbook very easy to learn to write print Hebrew letters. The videos that came along with it were necessary to learn how to say the letters correctly. I appreciate the quality of Inbal's videos and the detailed information in the book about the letters. My only critique would be that writing the letters that large is tiresome for the hand. Maybe there could be two books, one for adults who already have developed fine motor skills and writing stamina that could have smaller lines to practice. I just used another notebook to practice letters at a regular writing size once I got through the book. Now I'm onto to script!

I had only completed Inbal’s Hebrew 1, 2 and 3 workbooks on reading and writing prior to this course. I also highly recommend the workbooks and am glad that I had completed these before starting the Practically Speaking Hebrew course.

So many things about Hebrew seem so strange at first and almost impossible in the beginning, but then I think that’s true about English too. We also have different letters that make the same sound (c and k?) or change their sound when they have other letters next to them. And we also have different ways of writing eg upper case and lowercase letters often don’t look the same but we don’t think about any of these things when we learn English as children… we just accept what’s put in front of us to learn but what we also don’t realise is how structured that learning is when we are at school. I have found your books really helpful and I can now read simple text, even if I don’t always understand what I’m reading… slowly slowly I’ll get there

I have been learning Biblical Hebrew for a few years. Fell off for a bit, due to illness, but l am back at it. Your workbooks and videos help a lot. We must go back before we can move forward.

I went through all 3 workbooks for reading and writing and am now in the practically speaking course. I highly recommend it! Worth time, effort and financial investment.

I purchased this book on the author’s website instead of on Amazon. Hebrew by Inbal has encouraged me to take up my Hebrew learning once again. I am beginning with her workbooks and taking advantage of the free course that you download when you buy the book. Once I am finished with Hebrew 1, I will move onto the next two books (which I have already purchased). So far, I’m loving her method! I think the most amazing part of the workbook is her online free course. Whether you are a beginner, or have some Hebrew learning experience (as I do), this system is a game changer. Buy all three books as they are worth the investment if you are serious about learning Hebrew once and for all. When I am finished with her books, I am definitely going to do her online speaking course.

Shalom Inbal, thank you so much for welcoming me into your course, and happy to meet you! I am super excited to have found you on YouTube, as I was nearly giving up on my Hebrew learning project. I’ve studied Hebrew in the past for a bit more than 5 years and feel quite embarrassed to say that to this day I can hardly put a sentence together. I became frustrated and discouraged with some of the challenges I encountered and then I eventually quit (at least for a time) due to lack of support. It’s now been 5 years since I last studied Hebrew and I’ve probably forgotten 80% of what I was able to learn, so it’s good to be able to start over afresh and build a new solid foundation with you.

I fully identify with all the reasons you mentioned in one of your latest video entitled “Why Hebrew feels so hard (and what actually fixes it)”. Honestly, until I discovered you, I was at a loss with Hebrew, because I couldn’t find any really good resources, and above all, the traditional approaches that teachers are using isn’t doing it for me. I really appreciate that you seem to believe in your method and I know I won’t be disappointed.

Because I also love the reading and writing, I also purchased the three books you have on this subject and should receive them next week. I really like the fact that you are separating it from the Hebrew speaking because it can be quite intimidating and significantly slow down the progress, when this is one of the first things one must master to be able to learn the rest.
