My method wasn’t designed in a lab - it was shaped by every chapter of my life.
Living in multiple countries, navigating multiple languages, and discovering what truly helps people build clarity and confidence in a new language.
Here’s how the journey unfolded.
1984 - Where It All Started
My first English teacher wasn’t a person - it was the TV.
With only one channel in Israel back then, I absorbed English from the shows broadcast from Lebanon and Jordan - a full year before we ever learned it in school (which only started in 4th grade!).
I didn’t know it then, but that early curiosity was the beginning of a lifelong love for language, clarity, and communication - and the realization that understanding another language opens entire worlds.
2000 - Language Became My World
I grew up with Hebrew in my veins and English from the TV - and words quickly became my playground.
After my army service, I stepped into the Israeli high-tech world as a translator and copywriter, helping companies express complex ideas clearly in both languages.
That’s where I fell in love with precision, clarity, and the quiet magic that happens when someone truly gets your message - not because it’s simpler, but because it’s communicated right.
2015 - Teaching & Storytelling
Outside of work, I stepped onto Tel Aviv stages for poetry and storytelling nights.
I loved the feeling of expressing ideas with clarity, emotion, and honesty - and watching people connect to them.
At the same time, I was teaching Israeli teachers creative writing and building my own curriculum from scratch.
This is where my signature teaching style was born:
Simplify the confusing.
Make learning fun.
Teach so people actually get it.
2018 - A New Chapter Across the World
Olá, Portugal! Moving to Europe changed everything. Suddenly, I was the one living in my second language every day - speaking English, navigating life without Portuguese, and feeling firsthand what it’s like to be smart, capable, and yet unsure how to express yourself fully.
Someone asked me to teach Hebrew… and I realized I wasn’t going to open a textbook.
I was going to teach Hebrew the way YOUR brain understands it - from English to Hebrew, clearly, simply, humanly. This was the seed of everything I teach today.
2020 - Love, Family & Different English
Then I met Carlos - the person who changed my life in the most unexpected and beautiful way.
Falling in love brought me across the ocean to the U.S., where we built a home together with our puppy, Chloe.
And just when I thought I had already mastered English… South Carolina proved me wrong. 😂 That chapter taught me something no classroom ever could:
Language isn’t vocabulary.
It’s identity. Connection. Confidence.
2021 - Hebrew by Inbal Is Born
Everywhere I turned, I heard the same thing: “Hebrew is so hard to learn!”
With everything I knew - professionally and personally - that never made sense to me.
So I made a decision.
To do something different.
To flip the traditional methods completely.
To take everything I understood about language, clarity, and confidence…
and build a way of learning Hebrew that actually works for real people.
That choice became the spark for everything that came next.
And now thousands of miles away from home, I brought Hebrew closest into my life.
2022 - Hebrew 1-2-3 My Reading & Writing System
After months of work, my first full program finally came to life. But what happened next? I never expected it.
It became a bestseller overnight.
People were posting about it everywhere - sharing pages, progress, stories, and smiles.
People of all ages were posting photos, sending messages, sharing their progress, telling me:
“I’m finally learning Hebrew… and it’s fun.”
“I can’t believe how simple this feels.”
“My kids and I are doing this together!”
That’s when it hit me: What I wanted to create all along - something fun, beautiful, fast, and clear - was exactly what people had been waiting for.
2023 - Practically Speaking Hebrew
That’s when the next chapter of my work began.
I took everything I knew -
language psychology, clear communication, the patterns of Hebrew, and the language we Israelis actually use -
and built the program I wish every learner had from day one.
Practically Speaking Hebrew was born - the first system that teaches real conversation the way your brain actually learns.
No memorizing random phrases. No grammar tables. Just clarity, confidence, and speaking Hebrew in a way that finally makes sense.
Then October 7 happened - and everything shifted.
What had been an online learning community suddenly became something deeper: a place for safety, connection, and belonging.
People didn’t just want Hebrew lessons - they wanted a space to celebrate, support, and grieve with Israeli culture.
As a descendant of Holocaust survivors, something in me woke up in a very real way.
My work became more than teaching Hebrew - it became about keeping people connected to identity, culture, and the shared values that hold us together.
2024 - YouTube, Emails, Social… and My Own TV Show
From day one, I knew that:
- Inside my programs is where I could give you the full transformation - the tools to truly stand on your own in Hebrew.
- And on YouTube, email, and social media, my daily lessons would help you keep practicing, maintaining, and building on everything you learn inside my programs… forever.
That commitment opened doors I never imagined - including being offered my own Hebrew-learning TV show on Izzy. (check it out in my Free Resources section)
Today - And What’s Still Coming
Today, I’m building a home for Hebrew learners around the world.
I’m writing new books, developing new programs, and expanding a global community where people of all ages and backgrounds can learn, grow, and feel genuinely connected through Hebrew.
This isn’t just about language.
It’s about belonging.
It’s about connection.
It’s about standing on your own in Hebrew - and feeling proud of it.
